Nervi, an elegant and sunny town, isolated from traffic and city chaos, located between the hills of Sant’Ilario and the Ligurian Sea and, above all, complete!
In fact, in addition to boasting of large parks, romantic walk and picturesque beaches, there are, immediately behind the town, an ancient aqueduct and blue and pristine lakes (called ‘Laghetti di Nervi’) completely immersed in nature.
Could we not propose a trekking tour that saw these last as destinations?
We will depart from the Porticciolo di Nervi and start walking through the typical Ligurian ‘creuze’ in the direction of the Church of San Rocco, of medieval origin and located just 200 meters above sea level: from here we will have the opportunity to look a breathtaking view that sees as protagonists the Golfo Paradiso and Mount of Portofino.
We will continue entering the chestnut groves and terraces of olive trees that go up to the sources of the stream, near which we will find and visit the remains of the old aqueduct and abandoned mill… and now, deserved relax in the clear and fresh Laghetti di Nervi!
