Genova Old Town by E-Bike.
Our tour starts from Nervi, the easternmost district of the Ligurian capital, and we will move westwards, in direction of the city centre.
The first stop is Boccadasse, one of the most visited and iconic places in Genoa: it is an ancient and characteristic fishing village, made up of typical colored Ligurian houses and sailors’ goiters and nets.
The tour continues along the cycle path of the nearby Corso Italia, the relaxing seaside promenade preferred by Genoese families, which connects Boccadasse to the Foce area, and then reaches the old town:
Via XX Settembre and Piazza De Ferrari, respectively the main street and square of the Superba; Palazzo Ducale and the Teatro Carlo Felice to frame the already mentioned square with fountain; the Cristoforo Colombo House near the medieval Porta Soprana entrance; the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, a Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance style church; the Palazzi dei Rolli and the Strada Nuova Museums, UNESCO heritage; …and much, much more!
The tour of the Old Town of Genoa by E-Bike is suitable for all participants.
Departure Time and Meeting Point:
Meeting at 9:00 outside the Genova Nervi train station.
